Snowflake, Scott Co., VA

Through the generosity of Cary Losson this past year (2008), William will be remembered through all time with his memorial stone at the new walkway at Culloden, in Scotland.  Cary also had a replica made, and it now shares the other markers at William's gravesite in the Lawson Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake, VA.

Cary Losson descends from William (1763), Travis (1766), Henry (1810), William (1836), William Riley (1859). The spelling of the name changed sometime during the life events of William Riley. William Riley served with his step father and brothers U.S. Marshalls.
