Transcription: Surveyed, August the 25th, one thousand eight hundred and four (1804), for Thomas Mallett two hundred acres of land by virtue of a County Court Certificate dated January term 1804 for two hundred acres lying and being in floyd County on waters of Kentucky River and bounded as followth, viz. Beginning below his improvement on the North side of the Rockhouse Fork at A. three Birches and a Beech. Thence running up the creek N17, W170 poles to B. a Walnut Red Oak and Buckeye. N50, E75 poles to C. Eluc N68, E100 poles to D. a Beech S35, E30 poles to E. a Black Oak and Gum, South 170 poles to F. a stake S67, W135 poles to the beginning.
